This book is amazing if you’re interested in building skills to manage stress and focus on the present! I have learned so much from implementing a few minutes of meditation into my daily routine! I have gained a new perspective on stressful situations and manage my anxiety significantly better now!
Best Way to Start the Mornings! (or take a much needed break during the day)
I love that the themes/classes are short and to the point. Reading these insights are a great way to start the morning (are take a much needed break during the day). It’s inspirational and powerful, yet short enough that I don’t have to set too much time aside for reading and moving into action of mindfulness of a thought or sensation for the day/week. Loved the book & I recommend it to anyone trying to bring more awareness in their life, learning of acceptance and letting go. The book is full of wisdom and insight from the authors own journey, making it personal and profound. The instructions in the book can be used in a group setting, or individually. This book is user friendly, as it allows one to read a chapter and begin practicing immediately. The reader will gain awareness and foster a deeper understanding of self awareness through mindfulness meditation. I hope Mr. Carter considers making a second book as a follow up to this one. Thank you for writing a book that is user friendly.
